Whenever we are open, we will try our best to help you. If you need to be seen urgently on any given day, we will fit you in to be seen by a GP as soon as possible.
If it is already quite late in the day when you decide to contact us and your problem can wait till the following day, it may be in your best interest to phone us the next day to avoid a very long wait.
When We Are Closed
There is always a healthcare professional available to provide urgent care. You can also call NHS 111 on 111 for general medical advice.
If it's not a 999 emergency but you need medical help fast, call 111
111 is a new NHS telephone number being introduced to help make it easier for you to access local health services. You will be assessed, given advice and directed straight away to the local service that can help you most. That could be A&E, an Urgent Care Centre, or Minor Injuries Unit, an out-of-hours GP, community nurse, emergency dentist or a late opening pharmacist.
In a life-threatening emergency, always call 999.
Remember, A&E is for emergencies only, so please think before you attend A&E!
